I wish I could convince you to stop looking at failures and mistakes as a scarlet letter.  Failure is actually opportunity disguised as an obstacle, which means it’s actually not an obstacle.  Don’t miss out on a chance to grow and gain experience, and at the very least learn another way to not do something. Fearing failure is the grown-up version of being a poor loser.
